The Rates of the Levy are set as:

• 0.07 pence p/kWh for LPG



• 0.15 p/kWh for gas and coal and



• 0.43 p/kWh for electricity.

As with excise duties, the government expects that the rates of the levy will keep pace with inflation over time.
